Bunions

Bunions cause discomfort or pain as they are put under constant pressure. Bunion pain can be eased through various treatments available at the Orleans Dynamic Foot Clinic. Protective padding and orthotic devices can help by relieving pressure and minimizing irritation to the area. These measures can also help prevent bunions from worsening.

Ingrown Toenails

Ingrown toenails often cause pain and limitations to your daily activities. If discomfort is disrupting your ability to walk or enjoy sports, visit the Orleans Dynamic Foot Clinic for an evaluation. To treat ingrown toenails, we do a procedure called a matrixectomy. A matrixectomy is a procedure used to remove the nail with the use of chemicals.

Plantar Warts

Plantar warts are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus. They should be dealt with before they spread or cause pain. Consult a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine for a proper diagnosis and avoid self-diagnosis – be sure your bumps are correctly identified before starting any treatment. At Orleans Dynamic Foot Clinic, we have experts that are best able to do that.

Fungal Toenails

Fungal toenails and athlete's foot happen when microorganisms are exposed to them. This can produce a smell, discolouration, and altered appearance of the nail. If it affects the nail, it will appear on the nail bed or nail plate, which cause it to become thickened and raised. At Orleans Dynamic Foot Clinic, we treat fungal toenails and athlete’s foot.

Corns and Calluses

Corns and calluses are a thick hardened layers of skin that are formed from your skin trying to protect itself from friction against the skin. They need to be treated because they do not go away on their own. Corns and calluses are the most common treatment performed by the Doctors of Podiatric Medicine at Orleans Dynamic Foot Clinic.
